The Indian Institute of Social Welfare & Business Management (IISWBM) was the first management institute to be set up in India. It was established in 1953 by Dr. B.C. Roy, the then Chief Minister of West Bengal, who was its Founder-President. IISWBM conducts a 2 year full time MBA degree course in Masters Of Business Administration. The Degree is awarded by the University of Calcutta and recognised by AICTE, Department of Education, Ministry of HRD, Govt Of India.
